A Great Feeling, With More To Accomplish

Every team we played this year gave us their "A" game, so we feel we performed at the highest level every week and are well prepared for the playoffs. It's good to get a week off and relax the body a little bit. Beating the Giants on Saturday night, in a tough game, was a great feeling. You could tell we wanted the game. We wanted a piece of history.

To go 16-0 in the regular season means everybody played well every week and we were prepared to play each week. We have a team that comes together and prepares to have a great game.

So going 16-0 is special. We're human. We see what everybody is saying and it was a great tribute to finish the regular season unbeaten.

Now it's on to the playoffs. I've said all along that our goal is to win the Super Bowl. Once the playoffs start, the regular season doesn't matter. The AFC has a lot of good teams and we are going to have to play our best ball to get to Arizona.

But we've been through this before. We know the playoffs come through New England, at our house. Now, though, we can rest and watch the first round of the playoffs.
