A Lot To Do Before Training Camp Starts 

We are in a pretty down period of time right now, so you have to handle it the right way. You want to be ready to peak when training camp starts. I think the off-season has gone well for us. We have a winning attitude, one that has absolutely nothing to do with what people are saying about us. It doesn't matter what the media think about us; it only matters that we handle our business.

I think the team chemistry has been great with the new players we are working in. They know they are coming to a team that has won, a team that knows how to win.

Off the field, I have some things to do in the next couple of months. My restaurant opens soon and I am excited about that. I'm working on that, and I'm training for camp and I'm spending time with my family. That's about it.

The restaurant is going to be called The Capitol, because it was the first state capital of Louisiana, in my hometown of Donaldson. We're going to have it as a sports grille, with some games, pool table, serving burgers and wings, a lot of appetizers and it is going to be a lot of fun for people.

I've spent the last 14 months on my Internship preparing to open the restaurant, learning the entire business at Providence Prime in Rhode Island. I knew I needed to learn the business as far as doing things right.

I have to say that I'm really looking forward to the season ahead, but at the same time I want to enjoy this period of time with my family and some of the things I'm doing off the field. I will get back in touch with you once training camp starts.
