Big Week On And Off The Field 

It has been a busy week for me. On the field, we had a great win over San Diego. The Chargers are a good team, but we played a great game as a team and overcame a lot to win that game, as far as all the controversy about the cameras on the field and things like that.

It was a total team effort against San Diego, but we also know it was just one game. Every week is going to be a challenge and we have to be focused and mature and keep playing our kind of football.

Off the field, I spent a lot of time preparing for my Gala Wine Tasting, which benefits the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Everything went great for the event and I have a lot of people to thank. I've been very involved making sure it went off without a hitch.

It was fun and it was a lot of work getting things together for a cause that will be part of my life forever. The job is not done down there. I am deeply committed to doing what I can to help those people. I mean, people lost their homes and had their lives changed forever.

Those are my people, my hometown people. I know them and I know what they've been through.

I want to help more and more families every year and make this a great event. Thank you to everyone who helped me, who showed their support. God bless.
